Coelenterazine H is a specific and highly-sensitive intracellular luminophore that emits blue light when bound to calcium ions. Coelenterazine-h acts as a substrate for luciferases and can be used as a constituent of photoproteins. Approximately 20x greater luminescence than the native form.
Applications:
• Gene reporter assays
• Live cell assays
• Biochemical assays
• Cell viability fluorescent probe
• Useful for measuring small changes in superoxide and calcium concentrations in cells transfected with apoaequorin cDNA
